Robert Small’s story was truly inspiring. In a way, I was somewhat shocked at the fact that president Lincoln really didn’t intend freeing slaves and that his initial goal was to just bring the states into the union. Additionally, after hearing about the KKK over the years I now know as to how and why the group emerged.
